Check Haryana RERA complaint status
Have your complaint or appeal number and filing year ready. Select the authority shown on your acknowledgement, enter the number and year, and complete the official CAPTCHA.
No result?
Check the authority and filing year against the receipt, enter the complaint number rather than the project registration number, and retry the CAPTCHA. An empty search is not evidence that a case has been dismissed. For a disposed case, read the signed order; status alone does not confirm payment.

Open the official Haryana RERA case-status search, select the authority, enter the complaint or appeal number and filing year, and complete the CAPTCHA.
Should I choose Gurugram or Panchkula authority?
Use the authority printed on your filing acknowledgement. Gurugram authority handles Gurugram-district projects; Panchkula authority handles the rest of Haryana.
Why is my Haryana RERA case not appearing?
Check the authority, case type, complaint number and filing year. Do not use a project registration number in the complaint-number field, and retry the CAPTCHA.
Start with the correct Haryana RERA authority
Haryana operates two Real Estate Regulatory Authorities. Haryana RERA Gurugram covers projects in Gurugram district, while Haryana RERA Panchkula handles the rest of the state. A project marketed as Delhi-NCR or located near a district boundary must still be tracked under the authority shown on its registration certificate. Before searching a complaint, copy the exact authority code, complaint number and filing year from the acknowledgement or order.
Use the official case-status search—not a promoter's screenshot
The Haryana RERA Case/Appeal search asks for the authority, case or appeal number and year, followed by a CAPTCHA. A case-detail page can show the parties, current status, next hearing date and dispatch information. Search the exact number printed on the official filing receipt; names and project brands can be spelled differently across documents. Save a PDF or screenshot of each material status change with the date visible.
Complaint status, cause list and judgment are three different records
Complaint status shows where an individual case stands. The cause list shows matters scheduled before the Authority or Adjudicating Officer on a particular date. The Search Judgements pages list decided complaints and link to uploaded orders. A hearing appearing in a cause list does not mean that a final order has been passed, and a disposed status should be checked against the signed judgment to understand the exact relief, interest period and compliance deadline.
The official filing fee is ₹1,000 plus annexure charges
The Haryana Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2017 prescribe a ₹1,000 fee for filing a complaint before the Authority and ₹10 for every annexure. The official complaint-registration guide also instructs users to prepare the prescribed complaint form and detailed complaint with supporting documents. An amended complaint carries a separate ₹1,000 fee under the published schedule. Check the live payment page and current instructions before paying because the submission method and document requirements can change.
Choose the complaint route carefully
The portal provides separate registration routes for complaints before the Authority, complaints before the Adjudicating Officer, complaints against buyers, execution complaints and miscellaneous complaints. These are not interchangeable labels. The relief requested and the provisions relied on determine the correct route. A buyer should state the promoter's precise legal entity, project registration and unit details, payment chronology, contractual possession date, breach alleged and relief sought, and obtain case-specific legal advice where the correct forum is uncertain.
Documents that make complaint tracking easier
Keep the registration acknowledgement, complete complaint with annexures, payment receipt, builder-buyer agreement or allotment letter, every demand and payment proof, possession correspondence, project registration number and later affidavits in one dated folder. Record every hearing date, order date, dispatch date and compliance deadline in a simple table. If a lawyer or authorised representative is appearing, confirm after each hearing what was ordered rather than relying only on the next-date field.
A favourable order may still require execution
A final refund, interest, compensation or penalty direction does not automatically prove that payment has reached the allottee. Haryana RERA Gurugram's portal includes a separate option for registering an execution complaint, while Section 40 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act provides for recovery of specified monetary amounts as arrears of land revenue. If the compliance period expires without payment, preserve the certified order, calculation and bank details and check the appropriate execution step instead of filing an identical fresh complaint.
Five mistakes to avoid while checking HRERA complaint status
Do not select Panchkula merely because it is the state capital when the project is in Gurugram; do not search with only a developer's brand name when the portal asks for a case number; do not treat a cause-list entry as a final judgment; do not calculate interest beyond the wording of the signed order; and do not pay an intermediary who claims to alter the listing or recovery priority. The official portal, uploaded judgment and case file should remain the reference set.
